Chapman's Ice Cream Custom Video • Case Study

THE COMPANY

Chapman’s is Canada’s largest independent ice cream manufacturer located in Markdale, Ontario. Chapman’s pride themselves on always being in touch with their customers and always responding to their needs with quality products at affordable prices.

THE CHALLENGE

To promote the launch of Chapman’s new kids line which encourages kids to immerse themselves in a fairy tale adventure with a dozen unique characters, 4 magical novelties and 4 enchanted ice cream flavours.

THE STRATEGY

Chapman’s partnered with Fifth Story to develop a national content marketing campaign. Fifth Story produced an article series and an online video.

The Chapman’s video allowed imaginations to roam free as kids told a story of a magical land of ice cream, princesses and dragons. The :90 video was then edited down to :30 videos that were amplified on our For Your Life facebook page.

THE RESULTS

As part of the branded content campaign, the article content will be distributed to Fifth Story’s national network of print editors, online editors and bloggers. The content will be picked up by national, local and specialized newspapers, magazines, websites and blogs across Canada and generate earned media exposure for Chapman’s.

The online video is being amplified through social channels. The video will also be promoted through Chapman’s owned media channels.
